YOU WILL NEED

2 chicken breasts

1 tbsp honey

Splash of lemon juice

Makes 8

1. Put the chicken breasts into the freezer for an hour to make them easier to slice.

2. Remove from the freezer and slice lengthways into thin strips. Pop into a bowl with the honey, lemon juice and a mug of water. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 80°C/60°C Fan/Gas ¼.

4. Place the chicken strips on a non-stick baking sheet and place in the oven. Pop a wooden spoon into the oven door to keep it ajar and let any excess moisture out. Bake for 3–4 hours, or until dehydrated and slightly bendy.
